Sand Dunes Retreat

August 5-8

August 5-8

It’s coming up faster than you think!  In fact, this Sunday, July 26th is our last day to register for this great retreat!  If you haven’t filled out the forms yet grab a flyer from our Sand Dunes page, download it, fill it out, and bring it in.  We’ll be going up on Wednesday, August 5th and coming home on Sunday, August 8th.  We’ve already got a great group and trip planned out for everyone that includes swimming in the coolest spot in Northern Michigan (two lakes that are only 50 meters apart!), climbing some dunes, hiking beautiful trails, great cooking, worship as the sun sets and much more.  You won’t want to miss out on this so be sure to turn in your registration as soon as possible!

Can't Wait For The Dunes

August 5-8

August 5-8

It just hit us, in a little over a month and a half we’ll be visiting one of our favorite places in the world, the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.  And you’re able to visit it with all of us!  For four days we’ll be up camping in Empire, MI (it’s like the tip of your pinky finger on your map of Michigan).  And the best part of this trip is that it only costs $80 for all your food while at camp, your tents to sleep in, all our activities and a whole lot more.  It really is an amazing bargain!

Once we get to camp our retreat begins by setting up some tents (We know that’s not the most fun, but we need to sleep!).  We’ll grill out for dinner and then head over to one of the most beautiful beach locations we’ve ever seen.  We’ll be able to jump into Lake Michigan (believe us, it’s cold) or run about 60 feet through some super soft sand into a mini-lake that is always a great temperature.  It sounds crazy and is hard to explain but it’s beautiful.  When we return to the campground we’re going to get ready for bed, start up a fire and have a night devotion and worship under the stars!  Steve’s going to be bringing the guitar and playing some amazing music while Pat tries his hardest to teach us what an “Oasis” is and how we need to refresh ourselves in our faith lives.

All in all this is gearing up to be a great trip.  So far you’ve been able to see a look at our first day.  We’ve got 3 more days there and believe me, they just keep on getting better and better!  We’ve got lots of space left and really hope you’ll consider joining us.  Head over to our Sand Dunes page to download a flyer for more info or to register.

It's Officially Two for Tuesday!

On Tuesday one of the first things I do is check out Woot.com to see what “two for tuesday” special they are selling off.  Well on this Tuesday we’re bringing our very own “two for tuesday” special to you!  Today we are releasing all the information on two great summer trips that we’ve got planned.

Up first is our Blast 2009 @ Kings Island trip.  For two great days we’re going to get to explore every area of the Kings Island Amusement park that’s filled with great roller coasters (my favorite is the Beast), some amazing water slides, and so much more.  What’s great about this trip is that it also includes passes to the Spirit Song Christian Music Festival held in a private area of Kings Island.  This is a new addition to our Blast trip this year and we’re looking forward to see what great Christian bands will be playing this year.  For more info on our Blast 2009 trip click the image below:

And our second great trip is our famous Sand Dunes 2009 Retreat.  We’re heading up to the Sleepy Bear Sand Dunes for 4 great days filled with hiking, swimming, dune climbs, worship, camping, and much more.  The greatest part of this retreat is that it only costs $80 for everything!  This retreat has always been one of our favorites and we can’t wait to take a whole new group up to experience the Dunes with us!  For more information on this retreat click the image below:
